I have no idea what you're talking about. The respawning is intentional and you suffer a small chunk of health. This isn't Smash Bros, despite some peoples' impressions.

i played this when it first came out and then a couple of years later...played it again..........fancy pants hank and nevada map added...........completed everything except for the hardest battle.....A.K.A.....last battle with convict....grr........so hard......great game tho
