It just gets better and better...
This is the best sprite series on Newgrounds right now. While admittedly I was never much of a DBZ fan back in the day (The fights were cool, but they rarely seemed to do that. More then likely the episode consisted of 19 minutes of shocked expressions and 3 minutes of energy blasts), but the fighting style was sweet to watch when it did happen.
The sprite graphics rock, so do the fight scenes. Each character is interesting and distinctly Mario (Or in the Sega cases, Sonic), even when they fight. Mario never Kamehameha's randomly, Yoshi throws his eggs, it's all done within the characters 'real' abilities as portrayed from their games.
Very nicely done series that gets better and better with each episode. My only gripe is Luigi is too cowardly. I love that green B*****d! And that Knuckles isn't there instead of Shadow. Knuckles was always the coolest one from that series, and was more of a friendly 'nemisis' then Shadow.
