Absurd

Absurdly good, that is!

Every time a new episode comes out, we think we've seen the limits of what a sprite movie can amount to in flash. Alvin just keeps pushing the barrier. I'm pretty harsh with my ratings (I don't hesitate to give 0), but I once again find myself forced to give the full 10/10.

Aside from some small qualms with sound (some screams seemed off), this move was almost perfect. I have to admit, it was actually gripping, wondering what would happen as the fight progressed.

When Power Star 3 came out, I rated it as having better fights than anything in Mario Bros Z, but Alvin has reclaimed his title as the king of sprite-base flash, and probably all of flash. Of course, another element that sets this apart is the engaging story, and this episode did a nice thing of tying up plot elements from recent episodes.

Chaos....Flash!

This has to be one of the best sprite vids I've seen thus far. For a sprite movie, not many of them have been that great due to lack of talent or lack of storyline but the SMbZ series is great. Sound wise, if you're a true gamer of the retro age and have seen DBZ then you'll recognize the talent and effort put into this video. From the sounds to the sprite choices used, this movie really kicks some ass. Can't wait to see how the series turns out.

Great animation, i love the series, keep up the good work.

Btw, i didn't like how you changed the fighting music (the song that started with mario & luigi being chased by the totem of turtles and ended after the cut-scene with the yoshi chief) to a different song. In my opinion you should have kept it the same.

Hmmm... I disagree. I think people would have gotten pretty tired of the same music playing for more than half the episode.

Simply amazing, dragonball z and super mario bros mixed together into a sprite movie, doesn't get much better than that. Good job my friend. 5/5
