Graphics- Well it's sprites, but instead of the usual crap I will say a couple of things:
They look really bad when you do close ups especially Mecha Sonic who compared to the other characters looks really basic detail wise, perhaps you could update his look a little?
Also its seems to me that shadow has a lot less poses than the others. I just don't see the same kind of customization in shadow as I see in the others like Mario or Luigi. The same kinda goes for sonic.
Humor - I always find the humor in SMBZ to be hit or miss, a good number of your attempts at humor just aren't funny like the 9000 bit, I know its DBZ themed but I just found the joke to be in poor taste and predictable like If you used the Ninja turtles theme for the Koopa brothers instead of the spirit squad. I don't have any thing against the whole 9000 thing but I was just expecting more like adding your own spin to it or something. Making Luigi the center of your other jokes always seems to work though don't change him.
Overall- This is definitely the best sprite series on NG but it could still be better in the humor department and a little more customization with some of the sprites. As far as action and storyline goes nothing really needs to be changed except for those light ball power up effects that happens during battles. I think you need to get rid of that they seem unnecessary.
