Really did went the extra mile with the length it's hard to believe how long this flash lasts!! 100% more Action packed with 35% less chatter than the previous episode. So awesome.

Highly confusing without context
I've not seen any of the previous episodes of this series and subsequnetly I felt lost by the whole experience. All I know is that normally you've got to pick either Mario or Sonic, and this defies convention and the natural order of things. I quite liked this but I thought that it was too heavy a storyline for the characters involved. I know that every Sonic game since the first instalment has gotten progressivly more adult, but Mario has always remained innocent and free of unpleasent themes. It's just very strange to see these characters with no real depth to them in a story like this.
