Reviews for "Endless Zombie Rampage"

wow

incredible detail with all the shells blood and guts. i was amazed at the huge array of weapons and enemies. the only way it couldve been better would be to have some reload animations and maybe a couple melee weapons

How to win (kinda cheap)

(this is Defense mode)

For your first upgrade, take the G36 assault rifle. You have to get lucky--you will either get just over 350 experience, or just under it. You might as well restart if you get just under 350 experience since it's tough to last the next round without taking serious damage.

Then survive with the G36 until you have 3000 cash. This will take some serious doing and you will just barely survive the last level that takes you over 3000, because of those damn clawed thingys that are tough to kill with the G36. Save only when the round seemed to have gone pretty well and you didn't lose much health.

Now... GET THE LASER CANNON.
It should now be easy to survive. Try to line up several enemies in one shot. You need to live 2 more rounds with the laser cannon, until you have enough money to buy...
OVERKILL.
Overkill + laser cannon = huge experience because you do 100 damage with each shot which puts you way over the amount required to kill. I got over 50,000 experience the first round using overkill + laser cannon, and I spent it all on upgrades and improving the base. I just finished the second round of laser cannon + overkill and I have:
64333 exp
all upgrades
1222/1225 health
4825/4850 shield

This is now kind of silly... there's just about no way I can die.

Reviewing the game:
It's a pretty good game, kind of one-dimensional. The excessive blood that never goes away is a bad feature because it makes it hard to see the enemies. The scorch marks from the laser cannon make that worse. Also it would be nice to have a timer until the end of the round.

Great game with good graphics but....

Great game with great graphics. They style, and general game was very well done. I have a few problems though. I think the shotgun spread was waaaaaaaaay too big. With any of the shotguns, even at point blank about half of the buckshot would go somewhere else. You should really tone down the spread to make it more effective. Other than that, fun to play, and awsome graphics. One of the better zombie shooters on newgrounds.

wickedly sweet game, but a few problems

It's an awesome game, no doubts about that, but I did have a few problems with it. For one thing, it takes a little too much time to get enough EXP to get a better weapon or powerup. You could solve this problem easily by increasing the amount of EXP for the blue, basic starter zombies from 5 to 8-10, and keep going up the chain like that.

Also, with the Mossberg 5000 (1st shotgun), it takes too long to reload it, unless of course, he's reloading it 1 shell at a time, which still makes the Mossberg 5000 a worthless investment, since 8 shots at the price of a 6 second reload means that by the time you've reloaded, the zombies are already swarming over your base and beating the crap out of it.

And, finally, you should make it so that the player can switch weapons the moment the magazine hits empty, instead of being forced to wait a few precious seconds whilst the little dude in the game fumbles around (and yes, I do mean fumbles around. I can reload a pistol in way less than three seconds, and I'm talking about my old Colt M1911) trying to find a clip and figure out which end goes in first.

But, other than those few problemos, i think it's an awesome game and should be a required play for people who are thinking about making a Zombie-killing game.

Pretty fun game.
