Good, but

It's fun for the first few levels; there's some real challenge there and you get a nice sense of progress buying all the upgrades. I worked my way up, first magnum, second pistol, second magnum, then everything on the upgrades screen; all that was fun. Then I bought the deagle (with the spoils from one round, with all the upgrades) and the game ceased being terribly enjoyable. I never even bothered with anything automatic, or the shotguns or laser. There's nothing wrong with a ridiculously overpowered weapon, just scale the costs better so you can't get it until later in the game. Also maybe make us buy the reload/power/etc. upgrades separately for each weapon tier--so you buy them for the S&W magnum and the first pistol and shotgun and everything else, then have to buy them again much more expensive for the middle magnum, then again even more expensive for the deagle and other third-level guns? Just some suggestions for a sequel. I've loved Diseased since Thing-Thing 1, and zombie defense games are my favorite; this is great stuff.

Very good but needs balancing.

In the beginning, it's very difficult (as it should be!) but once you start getting mid-level weapons, it gets insanely easy. Once I got the second machine gun, I never had any real trouble defending the base again, in particular, the laser cannon made the game essentially unlosable. With overkill + laser cannon, I made over 68k exp in one round and bought 7k health for my base. The rest of the guns were really "choose your method of slaughter".

I didn't like the background sound much, I couldn't hear it over the gunshots.

Great game!

It's a great game, I really like the shooting and defense games. One small thing whether it was intentional or not, there's an exploitation where if you get overkill powerup and the laser cannon, you can rake in exp in just one level. I ended up with 60k exp and maxed out everything.

Slow Paced

I bought a G36 and lost motivation...

I seriously think the game would be better if you sped it up a little. I don't think you'd even necessarily have to make it harder, just make the reload times for most guns faster and make the playing field bigger, with more zombies. The gameplay would be less monotonous of you added barriers and walls to the playing field, then randomized them before each level. That way, you'd have a different environment to adapt to each time.

You should also add a button that lets people turn the moaning ambiance off so I can listen to music at the same time.

For those having difficulties, pay attention to which weapons/powerups you get. I got them in this order: USP->S&W.357->Street Sweeper->HK21->SPAS 12
With powerups: marathon man -> overkill -> speed loader -> hollow points -> extended magazine -> blood lust

At this point its pretty easy... So my only gripe would be that I'd like to see some sort of boss level or something, and a closing seen.
