Reviews for FF: Battle for Newgrounds

The graphics, music and sounds were pretty good in my opinion. The plot was okay, but the battles were over too quickly. In most of them it was a one hit K.O. which was too bad. Especially the final battle dissapointed me a bit. Also, a couple of things just came out of nowhere. The chocobo part didn´t made much sense and then there was a big black hole all of a sudden... :s

Anyway, as for improvement stuff. The battles could be longer (like I already said). It needs a replay button and maybe a scene-selection would be nice. I think the thundaga and blind could´ve looked a little better too. And like milinko said, try to speed it up a little. That was about it.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. I liked this movie. It was well made, but there´s still room for improvement.

Yeah, I have to agree the battles were over too quickly, but they were very hard to animate, and I never expected to get such positive feedback, otherwise I would have put WAAAAAAAY more effort into everything, especially the battles.

"In a land where idiocy seems to be something everyone is proud of" --- I don't think I could have described Newgrounds any more perfect than that. I really don't! LOL!

The flash was OK. I really feel you should have made the text a bit slower...maybe 1/5th more speed to them and changed the font on them to make it more clear to read and see. Other than that it's a pretty entertaining sprite based Flash.

It was more towards the end where I started to rush the speed of the text, but I am going to start the sequel very soon, and when I do I'll add buttons to skip to the next text. If memory serves me correct, I was going to do that with this movie, but I completely forgot by the time I started it. :O

Nah, Final Fantasy battles are over-rated, but Newgrounds battles are a fairly original. Obviously there's probably a couple on this site, but I made mine different, so sod them.

so-so neat idea

Not too bad,
gotta take out some points for ff7 music being used in another flash *sry I've heard it so many times its lost meaning and just annoying when I hear it in a flash"
and a meh ending but still creative idea will watch sequel.
