Reviews for "Reiko - Captive Audience"

Substandard , dissapointing , and yet intriguing.

An honest description of what you are about to see :

1)Before you open this flash , you are told that this flash was made by Illwillpress all over it!

2)You open the flash and you see a little gothic chick skating over an icy surface for not even 30 seconds while a sad , melancholic loop plays on the background. There are dead bodies underneath it.

3) The flash is over. Really. You are left puzzled and confused with what you just saw and yet somewhat intrigued by how this flash's score managed to get so inflated.

5) You snap back into reality. You just witnessed yet another monstrosity made by IWP.

TaintedInk responds:

Your review is unfair and abusive. Even if you did not enjoy it, calling this cartoon "substandard" or a "monstrosity" is certain unfounded criticism. You saw the name of the author and obviously had judged the material negatively before watching it. Next time judge the material on its own merit, and not according to your irrational grudge against the artist.

mechhh

It was decent animation and all, but it was just not a very good flash, it didn't really have any point (maybe if you know more about the character then it has more of a meaning...) Sorry about the low score, I'm a great fan of neurotically yours, but this kinda sucked... I was half expecting her to stop, then start speaking really fast in a high pitched voice and appear at the top of the screen, but no such luck :(

not much to see...

It was short, funny that because it was made by ILLWILLPRESS, known for making cartoons that have hardly any animation, normally just made with the same things over and over again. But back to this, it was very short, with very little sound.

Some punchlines are best left on paper.

I can see why you wanted to translate this comic to an animated short, but it loses all of it's charm along the way.

hmmmmmmmm

i prefer the original artists skits and art style. plus, did i see a little guilt in reiko's eyes? not her. none theless, a good run, but i prefer the original. maybe its just overcomplicated in tha artwork....
