Good.
Compared to the other's of this series, this one graphically anhiliates all previous ones. The violence was good, although very straightforward. I was all around impressed with the show, but one thing that disappointed me was the choice of sound effects. You seemed to have used the older sound effects of Madness's 1 and 2. The sounds used in other ones like Apotheosis and Depredation really aided the violent nature and helped improve the show. Here, I recall it sounding like paper ripping when Hank rips the head of an agent's shoulders. I remember in Apotheosis, A character's neck popped loudly and a faint scream came from the victims lips.
I really missed the use of the sound effects, and I although it did not disappear entirely, the multiple views around the scene of Depredation would have been great if applied to Madness Consternation. I also felt as though Hank was nowhere near as brutal as he useless is. Maybe that's just because most of this episode revolved around Hank's escape from Tricky.
Criticism aside, this is probably my 3rd favorite so far, Depredation still being my personal favorite, and Apotheosis making it in 2nd. I loved the music in this one especially, and I enjoyed the added humor in this one, as well as the bits of dialogue.
In the future, I can only hope the Chainsaw reoccurs, and perhaps we can see Hank really do some amazing things with it instead of just poking people with it. I also hope Tricky's agility returns, and I miss Jebus' habitual ressurection of victims. I have a few guesses to the shady figure at the end, I'm guessing either The Sheriff, or that guy in Madness 2 that Hank spared death after he pointed Hank to the Sheriff's room.
I'm really looking forward to the future movies too. I have a feeling that the next Madness will be an amalgam of EPIC and WIN on so many scales that it's awesome will likely be unable to contain in Newgrounds.
