Good Job on Pico Day
A very good animation. There are comedies on tv that have 20 writers, like THE WINNER[sux hard], that couldnt hope to be this freakkin funny. Nice job guys
Haha
"happy picos day to you too.. And a really good flash."
The ending was FUNNY... stupid monster! I loved the pirtae scene on the boat the most!

happy picos day to you too.. And a really good flash. I dunno why, but I really really liked the ending, thought it fit really well. Good flash guys, both of u great art styles!
We struggled really hard to avoid doing a "Pico encounters a new enemy" ending, and this was our close second.
Very impressive
Usually, the thing I gripe about most is story. But, because Pico is the very image of senseless violence, it's just fine. The graphics were amazing. The FBF animation was smooth and everything was colored with high detail. The only suggestion I'll make on the color is just that: a suggestion. When moving to a new atmosphere, consider limiting the color pallet. For exable, a blue hued pallet at night, or red hued pallet in a post-apocolyptic world, or yellow for a desert. I think you get the drift. Though this is just a preference thing. The only thing I didn't like about the submission was that the music and sound effects didn't seem to have much effort behind them. I want to hear a raging choir when fighting the demon, or pounding techo when fighting the wolves, things like that. The sound effects could use a base boost, though I know that's difficult because swf's are compressed to hell. The pirate dialogue was way too corny and distracted from the fast paced action. Though these are a few downsides, the overall flash was miles above average. Simply astounding. A 9/10 and a 5/5.
You're right, compression killed our audio like Pico would a pirate. The music was also a little more dramatic during our first version of the movie, but we toned it down so that it was distinctly background ambient more so than storytelling device.
Hell, for Pico day we tried to take any plot device we could. It was painful having to cut out so many story elements for the sake of keeping it short and, considering the event, relevant. I figured we were here to celebrate Newgrounds more than develop any characters thoroughly, and celebrate is what we have done. But I figure you anticipated that, right?
