Defines "kick ass"
This game rocks my socks. The weapons are fun, maintaining your stronghold is easy as pie to figure out, and the action is unrelenting. Losing survivors in search parties was a tiny bit annoying, along with the soldier-zombies nigh-invulnerability, but neither of those detracts from the zombie-dismembering goodness.
If you make a sequel, I'd suggest adding more weapons (flamethrowers? A limited supply of grenades or molitov cocktails?) and maybe adding more detail to the search party mechanic. Assuming the sequel is still a defense, of course - I personally wouldn't mind seeing a zombie shoot-em-up sidescroller or the like...
Amazing Game, Too Short
Wow, this is one of the best games I have ever played, even though it lasted a long time, it still felt too short. I loved the Barrett even though it made the game a little bit too easy. I also enjoyed head-shotting the military people between their helmets and bullet proof vest. With the Barrett, I killed 4 people in 1 shot, it was beautiful.

This is a real shooter and the Barret just owned as a finishing weapon and those dammed military guys just would not die!
