Brilliant
That single word describes how I feel about this game at the moment of review. However, I will try my best to ellaborate...
The Good
- The story is interesting - even though the majority of it can only be accessed from the journal - and keeps you going
- The whole setup was done nicely; repairing your makeshift "wall", searching for weapons, and looking for survivors makes it feel realistic
The Bad
- The survivor's AI seems to have taken a nasty hit from a pipe; they fire aimlessly, and aren't much help when the battles get tougher in later levels
- The pistol is useless; even with headshots it takes almost 5-7 hits to kill a zombie
The WTF?
- When the barricade is destroyed and your so-called "buddies" leave you for dead
- The clown in the last level
- How in the hell did he find a .50 calibur sniper rifle in that rural area?
To sum it all up, I think Con-Artists is an up-and-coming flash master, and deserves a lot of praise for his work. However, he only has one flash submitted at the moment, so playing this game leaves ya hanging like when your mouth gets real dry after eating eight fresh bananas. But, I will support him all the way, and I hope he keeps the good work up.
