Reviews for "The Last Stand."

A great zombie-killing game

I really enjoyed 'The Last Stand' - played it now a few times, just to try different things. I would absolutely enjoy a sequel, if the author feels so inclined. I'd like to see more levels in the sequel, different zombie with different strengths and weakness (some weapons more effective on certain zombies than others), and other weapons on top of what is available now. Perhaps in the choices screen (hunt for survivors or weapons) a few other options as well.
Overall, a great zombie -killing game, and would love to see a sequel.

Hint for newbies: Concentrate on finding survivors initially, and it will make everything easier.

Games this good normally cost money!

SWAT and soldiers were a nuisance. Favourite weapon in this one was definitely the sawed-off shotgun. Nothing fills me with joy like getting three headshots with one shot!

Kind of felt responsible for the survivors, and I mourned their losses. For like, 30 seconds... they made everything easier.

Mkdw Review

Graphics: Good
The bullet graphics seem to be relatively the same despite using different weapons but aside from that the zombies, autonomy, and the game engine have very few problems.

Gameplay: Excellent
This is one the most outstanding shooting games I've played.

Repeatability: Excellent
Testing out the various weapons to their best use was something that took me through the game several times.

Major Flaws: Minimal
The survivor death ratio was affected by an error in the engine where if it was only you and you had not found any survivors, it would still sometimes report that you had lost a survivor. Thus the number of hours spent vs. the chance of losing a survivor would mean you were more likely to loose a survivor once you had found one.

Great Job!

I gave it an eight because while it is very high quality and incredibly dynamic for a first time flash game, it is too easy. The chainsaw has an instant reload and kills everything incredibly quick. Once I got it, I had no difficulty and could complete every level without even trying. Not a big deal though since you can keep it fun by just not using the chainsaw. Try to fix this in the sequel though.

Addictive :)

Nice survival horror style game - I liked it.

Reminded me of 28 days later :)

A bit anti-climatic at the end after surviving that long but still pretty decent
