This game kicked major ass. But it was a little short I beat it in about 30 min. But overall, it was awesome :).
20 days of Zombie hordes
I really enjoyed this game. Wave upon wave of zombies marching on my little makeshift wall, armed only with what weapons I could scrounge and the help of poorly armed random survivors.
I did have some slowdown issues in the later levels as the piles of zombie bodies started getting larger, but other than that, pretty solid.
I think the highlight was around night 15 when out of nowhere a clown zombie bolts across the screen. I laughed... then I shot the freaky clown-zombie.
It's a lot of fun unkilling zombies!
Wow, I feel like I just saved myself from a horde of zombies... with a chainsaw. Those zombies can come back any time because killing them feels great!
Don't read this if you don't want to hear no tacticz.
It's just too bad that this game only has an easy mode. It's all a no-brainer if you just max out your support right away, then max out the weapons and refill the support when someone disappears. (It might also be a no-brainer if you don't.)
Having the strongest gun (except shotty) as a primary and the chainsaw as a backup weapon saves you anytime a zombie gets near.
Reparation is way too cheap, if you stick to keeping your support full you should never need more than one hour for it.
In a harder mode simple adjustments like increasing the damage zombies give and increasing the hours it takes to get something will make the game a lot more thrilling.
I love to imagine having to stake out two nights while watching your life meter drop so that you can find the new weapon or find more men to repair your wall with.
So basically, this game is a lot of fun, but with some simple additions it can be a lot better too. I'd love to see that happen :)
