I just gotta say...... wow !
I have never played a flash game so long (30 mins) i was totally hooked.
I got to lvl 20 and finished the game ( i had 7 people helping and all weapons)
Love the ending too.
In honor of this fantastic game i am giving your game a full review (if you read it and reply i could help you iron out the little bugs)
Presentation: 10/10. Stylish and gorey UI the perfectly suits the game, the menu's are very well though out and are very easy to use.
The story, well it is only text based, you can view it by pressing the "Diary" on the weapon selection page to view it, there is a different entry every night.
Graphics: 10/10. Simply the best graphics i have ever seen in a 2D flash game, blood splatting everywhere, bullets flying, even the smoke when you hit armor, just amazing and wonderful to look at.
Audio: 10/10. You can here every bullet and splat, voices are very good and effects are top notch. The weapons sound very realistic and are as good as any modern 3D FPS game.
Gameplay: 9.5/10. Very easy to play but incredibly fun the whole time but it does get harder every level, only a few new enemies introduced each time and of course more of them.
The idea is basically keep the zombies out until daylight (when the management part of the game comes in, think M&B's party system and you will get the picture), if they break though the wall any survivors will flee and you will be dead, eaten alive, nice !
If the zombies to break though and kill you, no sweat ! All that happens is the level (called "Nights) resets (for ex. your on lvl 3 and you die, lvl 3 restarts)
The shooting is very similar to that of the popular polish game Soldat but obviously with much less room to move, the aiming mechanic is brilliant and the strafing element works perfectly with the limited vertical aim.
The management side of the game also works very well too, allowing to add "survivors" to help keep them damn zombies out, not just that but you can find weapons too (the friendly little bar tells you the progress) and if the precious wall gets damaged you can repair it. Neato !
And with the help of "Notes" (the form of hints in this game) you can never go wrong.
Overall: 9.5/10. If you like capping zombies in 2D and have a half a hour to kill (pun indented) this is your game.
Bugs: Only 2 i encountered. Sometimes the KB&M stop responding (one time i had to restart the game) and the Chinsaw sound loops sometimes when you switch really quick.
amazing game...
At first i thought it was too hard and boring... but as i kept playing and finding more weapons/peopl it became so FUN!! Beat the whole game and i hope u make another like this...and for your first flash thats pretty damn good
Simply amazing
This is the best first flash game I've ever played. Other than a couple flaws, like the first automatic being one of the most powerful guns in the game, this is a well made game. And its extremely fun. I can tell you're extremely talented especially when this is your first flash. I look forward to a sequel.
