This is the best defense game I ever played! I personally thought the hunting rifle and chainsaw was the best. Don't forget to play The Last Stand 2!!!!!
Awesome game.
This game is one of the most fun shooters I've played. The sequel takes a bit more strategy and consideration, but the original is, without a doubt, a straight up blaze-down of zombies. And, that's wonderful.
Honestly, once you get 5-7 survivors, the only gun you ever really need to use at all times is either the UMP or the UZI. If it's more fun using a shotgun (sawed off or otherwise,) then go for it. Just keep aiming for headshots and the undead should RARELY ever make it to your barricade through the entire game. And if they actually reach it, you'll RARELY fall under 90%, I guarantee it, unless your aim's a bit off. The chainsaw just requires you to wait for them to GET to the barricade, and in all honesty, that's not what we're looking for.
So, yes. Remember, UMP or UZI paired with Shotgun or Sawed Shotgun. 99% of the time you won't even have to have both.
