bodies fly into the sky and explode...

ok... so they really dont fly... but they can explode. very nice game. made it through 13 days.. dont think its too bad for my first time. you should consider making a sequel. id play it.

A big step forward in Flash games...

Well, having beat the game I can say that this is definitely an entertaining time waster. You set up the atmosphere of the game perfectly, the graphics being a key factor there, as well as sound.

Awesome effort. I look forward to seeing more games in the future.

Very Good For A First Time Game

Lets start this off:

Graphics: Amazing quality even for a first time submission. It lags a tiny bit, but only when you let the zombies pile up on your screen.

Style: I love defense games, and zombie game, so mixing these games together was pure genius. Good job.

Sound: This was the only flaw. About 1/3 of the time, the sound is off with the zombies and the weapons. But other than that, it was very realistic.

Violence: Well theres no explanation for this. Lets just say that heads will roll if you just aim for that...

Interactivity: I love the way that if you move up, and shoot at the people down the barricade, theres not much of a chance that you will hit them.

Humor: Killing zombies always makes my day, but other than that, the sticky notes provide an easy laugh. Not only that, the diary was pretty humorous.

Overall: 10/10

Crazy insane awesome...

I beat the game on my first try! Anyways here's a few tips and tricks for anybody who needs help.

Taking on zombies: You should get a rapid fire weapon that you are confortable with as your primary weapon, and use the chainsaw as your backup. Just take down as many zombies as you can with your rapid fire weapon and kill any lucky survivors (by that I mean the zombies) that manage to get up to the barricade with you chainsaw. Feel free to experiment with new weapons, but make sure you do so with a chainsaw as a backup... it's a lifesaver.

Time management: Whenever you get to this screen, make sure to spend as many hours as you need on repairing you barricade. Just check the barricade heath and check how much % you can repair per hour. You can do the math from there. Take whatever time you have left and use it to search for survivors and weapons. Try and even this out to make it fair, both of these are vital.

Oh and just for kicks, check out the journal on the weapon select screen.

amazing

this was easily among the best games i have EVER played on newgrounds. you should definetely considers a sequel.
