that's all I really have to say. Awesome. Just awesome. It was really cool how even when the barrier breaks, you can still fight off the zombies as long as they don't get to you. If you make another one, try to keep the gameplay the same, but maybe let you have access to 3 instead of 2 guns at once, but have limited ammo.
Great Game! Some minor flaws though...
While I realize its impossible to please everyone- you say "remember, certain zombies have weapons you can use" But you dont say if they are picked up in game, or if that anything happens with them. If you have just the pistol and a zombie walks out with the revolver and you kill it - and you DONT look for weapons that night - will you get it? I tried doing just that and I didnt get it. I still had to look for weapons and found it later. So that seems silly.
Also, the randomness is good, but its a drawback. The random zombies are good - but if they are on the hard side (or very clumped) on the 1st or second night they will take your base down to 60% in not very long. I've had that happen to me a couple times, and it is annoying. When they bunch together they are much harder to kill as you cannot always concentrate on one zombie.
The randomness of the party members has changed since i played this a couple days ago. I'm getting so many fewer people in search parties, and its getting me killed. If you spend 9 hours the first night looking for people, and find nobody, well you're screwed. Also, if you only have yourself, how can you loose a person that night as well? Its not really a "bug" but its silly to say there's only one survivor and one was also lost (which would be you).
If you remove some of the randomness of search parties finding people that would help out.
Also, there is nothing in the instructions about what happens when you are attacked en mass and people dying. I spent all night looking for weapons, but still lost two people (no search parties) and I must assume it is because my wall was damaged the previous day (damage % in a day = people killed??) Clear that up, because that is frustrating.
For your first submission though, this is freaking amazing. Your flash skills are not to be trifled with!
