Your first game? You're kidding, right? This game is something that most pros would dream of. I guess this just goes to show what taking your time and working hard can do...
About the only real thing I found for you to improve on: make it so that you can switch weapons without having to reolad (you hit 0 ammo, the player hits a key, they can switch weapons without reloading).
Other then that, really good stuff.
Yep. My first. I've been working with Flash professionally for years, animating, building sites, wanted to improve my actionscripting and shooting zombies seemed the best way.

To anyone who finds this game hard heres a guide.
Finish the first stage if your barricade has reached down to 80 fix it up till 85-90 if it got lower try again. Then go spend 4-6 hours on survivors same with weapons. Repeat that pattern and don't over repair the barricade.Hints: Any searching could lose a survivor, Even though it seems you have all weapons there is one more after the AK-47 search again till you have it,Have a auto weapon and the hunting rifle as your second its usually a 1 hit kill,There is only 20 stages,When you face soldiers or SWAT members aim for the head or legs they wont be affected by body shots The ultimate weapon is one hit kill and go through multiple enemies,Try to aim for the heads,Some times enemies run at you,Shotgun takes a lot of time to reload sawed off is quicker,The more survivors you have the faster you can rebuild your barricade and the easier it is to find survivors.

OMG this was such a fun game and I sadly only survived 19 days. My main plan was at first get as many survivors first. So I had 5 which was a good start for me.
I then used them to fight off the waves of zombies. Only repaiered the wall when it hit 70% or below. I then looked for weapons and eventually managed to get the Chainsaw. That was my main weapon in everyfight ever since I got it.
The Chainsaw was in my opinion the most powerful weapon and most reliable. Keep your men numerous and your wall healthy. Now with all these men and the chainsaw weapon I always only ended up with my wall taking only 5 to 7% damage. Now since you don't get the chainsaw for a while I find the shotgun and saw off work second best as well.
Now the reason I lost was I used a weapon not being the chainsaw. I think I used the last weapon I got. As for how to face the armored zombies, the easiest for me was the chainsaw in the face. No armor there and what easier way to hack up a zombie then to slice and dice his face. Those dogs, their main theat is they distract your friends from the real problem. I suggest removing them when the zombies are not at the wall.
The fat ones are the second toughest for me. Chainsaw works perfect yeah but I'd also have to say Shotgun is secondary good.
Well that's all the tips I got for the young zombie hunters. Live long, die well as they say.

dude that was so awsome, the first time i played, i made it all the way to the end and i had the AK. the wall was breaking down and it got to like 10 health, my ak had like 1 bullet and everyone els ran away, those sons of bitches lol, i pulled out my sawed off and blasked the fukers away with one wall health remaining and i beat tha game lol it was nice
