Reviews for "Virginia Tech Tribute"

Thank you...

Thank you for making a serious flash about this incident, unlike some disrespectful people here.

I actually strongly agree with the point about gun laws. Although many say 'people are too quick to attack gun laws,' I disagree.

It's true, the leading cause of death is by firearms. Isn't it completely obvious by now that guns are dangerous? Why aren't laws changing?

Violence solves NOTHING. Warefare is another story, but think about the common good.

Look, I don't give a damn if some rednecks want to shoot squirells: Guns = death.

Thank you. Hope i'm not alone on this.

Little-Radiodemon responds:

Yeh, some people here don't take serious incidents very serious, they think that it's funny, hence the "Bastards" collection on this site.

People can defend gun laws all they like, but that doesn't change the fact that guns kill and where designed for just that.

Thanks for your opinion and review.

Well, I'm not a very emotional guy.

And I'm definetely not trying to pick a fight, but it seemed less like a tribute to those lost and more of an attack on gun laws. I believe that the majority of the casualties were caused not by unrestricting gun laws, but by failure to act by local and state law enforcement.

The flash was well put together, though. Just try to double-check your spelling and grammar before you post next time.

Little-Radiodemon responds:

Very little about gun laws in this flash, just the little towards the end. Spelling, yeah, maybe next time, though, hopfully there won't be a next time.

Beautiful tribute for a horrible event...

This is a very nice tribute. It may be simple, but sometimes simplicity is the best way to get the point across. The music was very nice.

I am of the opinion that another issue involved with events such as this is bullying. I've gone through it for many years, and while i'm not saying what the shooter did was correct, I can kind of see where he was coming from...

Finally, Thank you very much for not using a scapegoat and blaming video games or music. I heard enough of that after Columbine. Lets stop trying to find an easy target to blame and go after the real issue...

Little-Radiodemon responds:

Yeah, simplistic flash usually hold the best message. And yes, bullying might have caused this to happen, it's happend before where someone has done such a thing, but it could always have been somthing else.

Music and video games, although can have effect on people, I doubt it was the issue here or in past events like this, it's sad when people blame those.

Thankyou for the review.

Great Tribute

It was very serious, as it should have been. This was a dark time for Virginia Tech and should be heeded as a tragedy. And also it is true that laws about haveing guns ment for man-slaying should be changed.

Little-Radiodemon responds:

A serious issue calls for a serious tribute and not abusive ones. Thankyou for your comments.

Decent tribute

Graphics- Pictures and text, not a whole lot to explain there

Style- kinda seemed like a power point slide show set to piano music, not original, but not bad either

Sound- music went well with the message

Violence- despite this being a tribute to the worst shooting in US history to date none was actually shown here, it was implied but none was actually shown.

Interactivity- all hail the play button

Humor- none, nor should tribute to a horrific act such as this contain any in memory of the victims

Overall a good tribute considering it was made a day after the events, kinda seemed like a power point though. Sadly this event and I am sure many more will occur like it before things are changed. Not that people will ever successfully remove guns form the people, and even with that people will still commit horrific acts such as this, but the real problem here is stopping people like that before they snap, taking several others with them. The signs were all there, like 9/11, but no one did anything to stop it.

Little-Radiodemon responds:

Yeah, I am sorry for making it seem like a power point presentation, a little more creativity could have been used, but I didn't have much time today to make it.

But thankyou very much for your review.
