Good but remakes need more.
I loved the animation style in this but the fact that its a 4 year old story shows in the lack of maturity. That said I'd love to see you do an original action piece in a similar style in terms of the fights and effects. (and I'd love to write one for you) Well done on a technically brilliant flash.
Its O.K
The sound was ok. Not very violent. No blood or atleast scratches. The hole fruit thing was pretty confusing. And why was marios mushroom green. And why did it turn to a wierd veiny thing with wings? Overall its was okey dokey but try a little better next time.
Disappointing
Aw, man. I've enjoyed your work for quite a while, especially the Ultimate Tutorials and those fbf stick flashes you've made a while ago. I'm a fan of Mario, so when I saw the title (along with the alias), I was eager to view it. Sadly though, this turned out to be your average Mario movie - Luigi gets killed, Peach is missing, etc. Throw that on top of the DBZ cameos and spontaneous cussing, and matters just go down hill from there. It came to the point where I just had to X this one out in about 8 minutes time. It leaves a sour taste in my mouth, knowing that you're such a talented flash author, and that you've spent such a long time working on this thing.
I'll give you a 6 for the effort, and to not hurt your review average too much, but I'm positive you can manifest and create more intelligent and powerful movies.
If you read my comments, you'd know its starts getting better after 8 minutes.
I suggest you go up to scene selection and start of where you left.
Cause in fact the first 8 minutes were created like 2 years back... the rest was done in the past few months, with me having a lot more experience.
But if you dont like the style, it can't be helped. I don't like the movie that much myself as well, but thats probably also cause I spend such an awfull lot of time with it.

Apart from the amasing sound track that really wasn't anywhere near as ood as the overall score suggests. I agree with others, the plot/story is weirdass and it is too long with more fight scenes that scripting.....
Frustrating!
It may well be that since you started making this times have changed and many flashes have been made like this one. As everyone has said there are SO many mario revenge and other characters and blah blah blah- the thing I'm pointing out is that you've clearly got talent with making flashes like this and you have an incredable amount of potential to make something incredable. But the story behind this flash was just god awful-which is a shame. I thought it was a bad idea to try and be sentimental with a little maro walking around; when he started to cry a bit I just thoguht of his jaunty little video game tunes, you really can't take him seriously. Avoid making something that is leeching off of mario, sonic, clockcrew, dragonball z (this especially. It was painful to see that you thought putting blonde hair on fruit and mario was a good thing) and generally all other big titles like that. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to make another flash as painstakingly difficult as this, though.
They key things left that you NEED are origionality, a good story line and a bit of tweaking on your drawing style. Overall though, this was very well done.
