WHY IS THIS SO LOVED?
I have NO room to go off on someone else's hard ass work.....BUT DAMN. This game really honest to god is not that great. If fact, its quite boring. You flip around and blow shit up while watching your fuel. Thats it. Thats it. And its on the top 50 all time? WTF? OOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooohh the nintendo wii!! So? Im no game maker, but I just feel this game is WAAAAAY over-rated.
Good idea - but could be better
This game is really a godd idea. Big plus for that. The gameplay, however, is terrible. Not terrible, but terrible compared to the potential. Add more vehicles, and fix some bugs, and you're on the way. Also, remove the homer - it obstructs more than helping - it blows you away when you try to hit things. Due to this, I usually don't upgrade it at all.
Also another thing that annoys me is the fuel limit. Because of that, I can't do combos bigger than a certain amount, and it also pisses me off when I lose the game because I can't land due to a large amount of homers and miners shooting me up into the air. Add a buffer to that, so that duel doesn't run out while in the air - or that all it does is kill your engine, so you can't move - you'll just fall down tot he ground (and of course continue to gather points if you hit anything before you get down).
So, so game
If you would have added a weapon to the tank as well it would've been tight, like a rechargable turret that would launch you, idk. just felt like something was missing...
Nice but with a HUGE flaw
The exp doesnt add up when you hit the actual plane, which means when I ran out of fuel when I had a 14 combo it really frustrated me, as im sure it would with alot of others.
fuck concept, except for the huge stretches where there are NO enemies and you just run out of fuel on a blank screen
