original was better
u kinda took away options in this i like to know that my virus made people throw up the original was a stragety game that u could actuallt win and this isnt i dislike how u had to make a leap over the edge when u had to infect airports,spread and other things i wasted 27 pionts trying to infect the middle east this was a good game but u could have easily made it better
Meh... Not impressed.
You're getting unrealistic 10s and 5's. No offense to you what so ever. This isn't Unbelieveable, this is watered down, from various things from the first to simply three. It took 10 days to get points in the first game, But it's a crap shoot to even make it to day 9 in this game. Either you save all your ponts later on and hope for the best, Or Use what you can early on and.... hope for the best. High lethality, less people getting infected till none left, thus Game over. Great resistance, That much longer to wait because not many are being infected and they just might die out. High Infectibility, Quicker time for Countries to get the cure done. There can be so absolute or no balance. It's just random. By making it three choices and an unknown tally (Precentiles aren't fun) It's hard for the player to make their choice since they wouldnt' know how to infect which country in a specfic way.
Needs improvement
The game isnt that hard, you just need to be lucky in order to win. Just dont buy lethality in the start, and go for infectivity. Dont infect water or something like that, just spread the virus :)
Like i said, the game is waaay to much about chance, and way to little about actual strategy/skill. If you could improve that, the game would be alot better!
sophomore slump?
i find it hard to believe that someone who came up with such an innovative game returned with such a lame sequel. even the music was better in the first!
Disappointing
This Pandemic game was a disappointing. It's decent, whilst the old Pandemic game was perfectley balanced.
The new options in the game diden't justify the old game. Even though it were much simple,it just diden't keep me entertained like the old one.
Even the graphics felt much more smooth and professional than the new Pandemic.
Sometimes simple is best.
On the other hand i give you credits for implenting new gameplay to the game.
When it's all put together, i can simply say it's a decent game.
