Reviews for "Pandemic: EoM"

Good, but the first was better

I liked the first better because it wasn't so easy to win.

For those that are having trouble winning:

Day 1: Raise infectivity to 3, lower lethality to 0
Day 2-3: Spread until more than 1 person is infected
Day 4-7: Wait until you have 9 points then raise infectivity to 4

From then on, just keep spreading until you hit 10 infected people, then infect an adjacent area. Once all areas on a land mass are infected 100%, infect an airport and try to spread to another land mass. Keep spreading and infecting new areas until all people in the world are infected (Greenland and South Pacific are hardest to infect because you must use an airport to access them). Finally, keep pumping points into lethality until everyone dies. This should get you 100% kills in about 70-80 days.

Abit confusing

The game is an ok time-killer, although - I didn't understand why countries would immunize themselves against a disease that they probably wouldn't even be affected by.

Solid work; a potentially great game

I enjoyed this a lot, but I understand the frustrations some people are having. After about 50 play-throughs, here are my suggestions:
- Make sure that planes have destinations different from their origins! It is VERY frustrating to invest a dozen points to infect an airport, only to read "Plane from Canada lands in Canada."
- Investment in skill increases exponentially with each level advance (level 4 costs 16 points, level 5 costs 25), but the chance to succeed at a given task (spread, infect water/airport, etc.) seems to barely change at all. Overall, the chance to succeed at every task at every skill level needs to be tweaked upwards.
- Consider restoring the original attribute sheet from the first game. The symptom list especially (vomiting, necrosis, fever) is much, much more fun and evocative than a simple "Infectiousness" stat number.

I'm 36th!!! Great game!

I formed a great strategy of spreading, infecting neighboring countries, infecting airports that led me to killing off mankind! I remember playing this last year and I hated it because I couldn't beat it, but now it's great fun. Excellent work.

Lol

"Your infected plane from Asia landed in Asia" That's pointless XD

It;s a nice game, it is just a bit too much like the other pandemic games. I still like it though.
