I think this one was a good try at trying to improve the old game but I prefer the original version. This one is too slow

Too Random
This game would be much more entertaining if a little more skill could be involved. The game became very boring after trying to infect the airport and water supply for 7 or 8 turns.
Your probly wondering why I gave him a 0
Everyone's being too nice to him by giving a 6 or 7 in my opinion. He deserves a 1 out of 5 because the first Pandemic was awesome. The goal was to kill man kind with a uncontrollable virus in 200 days. Sure, it was easy in the good old days where most people finished in 50 days. So obviously the logical choice was to make it harder right? WRONG! IT WAS THE EASYNESS THAT MADE IT A GOOD GAME! IN THIS SHIT PIECE YOU HAVE ABOUT 3 DAYS TO LIVE. Why that is because one of the two will allllllllllllllways happen. Either A. the person with this sickness dies and the world is none the less smarter about the sickness or B. the cure is founded in that country. Now maybe I am just a n00b I thought to myself, but I tried going in infectility... SAME THING the last person still died!!! I checked the scores thinking "hmmm maybe I should check to see if others had that problem." So I looked at the others people score... I killed about 1 percent of humanity and got 200 points right? So I checked the scores and... they only did around 5x better than me (900 points average) so I'm making an assumption that they only killed around 5 - 10% before they died to which is complete shit. The upgrades wasn't like the first one where they had a big long list of upgrades. It just consisted of 3 things: 1. immunity 2. infectivity 3. lethality. The upgrades are basically useless though cause your going to get owned. GG
For my final words to Author...
Isn't the sequel supposed to be BETTER than the original just look at... wait a minute your following the trend just nicely :D.
well...
not much to say on this one, wasn't great wasn't bad, every time i played it the game ended in like 30 seconds, much worse than the original, should have stuck with the original's interface and what not but made improvements...
Worse than its predecessor, but can be improved
Thanks for making this game! You tried to address some of the missing things in the first game, but I think you missed the mark:
- Customizing your virus was one of the great appeals of the first game. It is much more satisfying to click a checkbox that says "spreads through air", than increasing the infectibility parameter from 5 to 6, even if they mean the same gamewise.
- No headlines "It is the end of the world!" make the game less fun.
- Killing 10% of humanity is less fun than killing 1.000.000 or so humans
- More countries is good.
-Much is left to chance, and the player can't really have a grasp on the meaning of the parameters - is it worth it to improve infectibility from 5 to 6, or is it better to spend those 10 points trying t spread the virus? - no way to know
- Infecting the water supply seems to be meaningless. The two times I won the game, I didn't use that.
- planes from one country to itself are ennerving.
- The change for killing humans when death is 0 should be much lower.
- non infected countries should have a much lower chance to develop cures.
- Partial cures, where infected humans would go back to normal, and countries become harder to spread, would be something more interesting - then you can slow down the total cure generation.
