Didn't really like this game...
I loved Pandemic. But, I hate how in this game there aren't specific symptoms. Mankind develops the cure way too fast, too.

it was alright
nothing to wright home about it needs to be less specific and not be country by country. i liked the first one the best but thats just me
good
i like this game, but i prefer the first part of the game.
Lost the feeling of the orginal
I've played both games, and my thoughts are i like how you can control the virus in making it board planes or cross borders, and how your racing against time from a cure.
However i feel that removing the virus customization, removed a large chunk of what made the previous game so good.
Saving up enough points to go airborne was a nice achievement, as was going waterborne and infecting water plants.
None of that was in this game, which was a huge loss. Also although fighting the cure was neat, the fact that countries no longer closed their borders made the game a bit unrealistic. The fact that you could, and generally should infect a country to 100% in 1 turn was also out of place.
Then theres the question of where the points come from. If i remember correctly, most of your points in the previous game came from killing people, possibly a small bonus for infecting them. In this game, i'm really not sure where my points come from, it sure doesn't feel responsive to any changes i made to the virus. This lack of feedback really crippled what was left of the customization.
If you make a 3rd in the series, i'd bring back the detailed virus customization and the growing worldwide response and isolationism combined with the way countries develop cures.
I'm undecided about how you can control the virus in each country, as it seems out of place, as well as forcing the user to micromanage things they shouldn't have to worry about.
Overall, i commend you on experimenting, but i feel the game has lost its way from the orginal's success.
awesome
just simply bravo
