TOO LONG!!!
This has good action, but you have to wait to long to get to it. It's worth the wait though

It's better then DBZ by far, DBZ was the same characters and the max ammount of people fighting where about... 6 this had 14+ people fighting at a faster pace then DBZ with better animation then DBZ
good sprite coordination
Good style on the sprites but it could use alittle less talking some of the story could be cut down alittle
Sound was perfectly lined up with the action though Mario and Luigi need to learn how to talk
Violence Fast Pace In your Face Very little Slow down Time And Multiple Fighters instead of just 2
Interactivity ... there has to be some sort of Auto message function so i dont have to hit the space bar all the time
Humor well classic DBZ styled humor possiable better
Overall: an 8 only docked because of the space bar hit without an option of auto talk And the large talk could be cut down a bit

Thanks for your review. But I won't be making Mario and Luigi get any dialogue in the series. I'm trying to keep in character like in the Mario and Luigi games.
Also. The dialogue will gradually decrease as the series goes along.

Great animation... but...
I have a problem with the Super Mario Bros Z series. It's well animated, action-packed and you must have put a hell of a lot of effort into it... but I don't like the story. Mario and Sonic together for me doesn't work. I'm sure thousands would disagree with me but that's my opinion. It's like mixing Star Wars with Star Trek. It just doesn't feel right! If it were just the Mario characters and something other than the Chaos Emeralds it would've been almost perfect for me. The Axem Rangers just made things even worse... ARRRGGHHH!! I also didn't like pressing space over and over again to read the character speech... it's so annoying! But hey, despite all the issues I have with the story, I still enjoyed it, and it has made it to my favourites list.
