This series improves with each installment. Episode 5 opens with our heroes recovering at the castle from their defeat by the Koopa Bros. They track them and the stolen Chaos Emerald to a remote island and set off in pursuit, only to arrive and discover other games afoot...
The story in Episode 5 moves along as fast as your spacebar, and the funny is in top form, with several laugh out loud moments. The Koopa Bros steal the show with their appearance, and Yellow has THE best line in the series so far (including Episode 6). Which actually brings me to my only gripe... I have to scroll through the entire 'natives' backstory to get to that scene!
The fight scenes.
Oh, the fight scenes. Wicked... ESPECIALLY the final brawl (Mario Bros VS 'Red Team' in particular). The hits in this one are HARD, and sound like they REALLY hurt (I'm reminded of why I liked playing Tekken 5 so much on a good stereo system)! The new sound effects for all the new fight moves blend right in, and do NOT dissapoint. Pump up the volume and enjoy.
