Reviews for Super Mario bros Z ep 5 (old series)

Epic by every meaning of the word.

This is my pick of the 3rd best SMBZ episode so far. There were not 1, but 2 fight scenes, the plot moved along along at a steady pace, the Axem Rangers X first appeared, the action was 2 times faster, and most importantly, it was cool. Very, very cool. One cause for complaint is that the cliffhanger at the end kind of gave away a great spoiler, but who care? SMBZ 5 is everything that was good about the previous episodes only it was multiplied 3 times over. When I first saw this, I thought it was the greatest movie in the world... at least for a while. But that is not a bad thing: SMBZ 5 really is one of the best in the series and even Mario parody history.

now if only DBZ had had this much action in it.

this series is, in my opinion, on par with DBZ, in terms of awesomeness, but DBZ lacked in the amount of fighting it could have had. so much in that series was wasted on scenes with talking, but this one has a bucketfull of greatness in every minute.
