Reviews for "What it's Like in Japan"
Very funny flash!
I was definitely expecting a flash on Japanese culture, not a Mario flash. However, this flash was quite good. Here's why:
Graphics: 7/10. This was definitely the weakest part of the flash. However, even though the graphics were mostly sprites, they were done pretty well. The addition of the picture of Japan was integrated nicely, too.
Style: 8/10. The overall look was great. The sprites definitely gave the flash a video-game like (a.k.a. classic Mario) feel, which went perfectly with the music.
Sound: 10/10. This is the big star of the flash. The music was excellent, and the integration of the sound and graphics was perfect! In addition, the sound effects were nice. Absolutely no complaints here.
Humor: 8/10. While not side-splittingly funny, there were still many funny parts in the flash, most of which corresponding with the music.
Overall: 8/10. Even though it wasn't groundbreaking or revolutionary, this was a fun, light-hearted flash that I enjoyed.

I had a few laughs from this
The song was a good part of the humor as well. The part where Mario hits his head on the brick as well as when he comes out of the pipe and is surrounded by two bigger pipes on each side, and at the end when the tune of the song was the music when Mario gets a game over in the original Mario brothers. Nice job.
