Reviews for ".:Waves:. v2"

I agree with Cybex...

...it was original, fun and the art was superb. The menu really made me want to play, and the sea looked great.
Brilliant game all round, i have no idea why the score is this low >:(.
Good job phyconinja and fuzz :)

Pretty hard

It is a pretty hard game, but I like it a lot. I laugh whenever I "die" in this game, because it is a fun game to play, and very addictive. Nice job!

Could be a little better, but still good.

I liked the originality of this game. The idea of controlling the wind blowing a ship to keep a little guy from throwing up is good, but I do have a couple complaints. One: the graphics were nice and smooth, but limited; I would like to see birds, maybe some dolphins, ambient stuff like that. I would also appreciate a slightly larger viewing area. Two: the controls were decent, but the instruction was slightly lacking; beef it up with some helpful hints for those of us just starting out. And lastly, the music, while nice and fitting, did get tiresome after a while. Ever think of using some good old classical music? It would make a silly undertone to the violent sea and our sick little friend. Either way, this is a fun and creative game.

Great game.

The graphics were really good (well done fuzz) and it was well programmed. The gameplay didn't really feel like it was on the sea, maybe the boat could've naturally wobbled around a bit more.

It's an original idea. Well done.

Nifty!

The graphics were pretty simplistic and functional, but the style supported and advanced them. The style you used was consistent and extremely good - the style of this game is, for me, the highlight.
The music was inkeeping with the style and very good for the theme.
The concept of the game was pretty funny - move a boat around to avoid vomiting.

Overall it's a nifty little game. I enjoyed watching it more than playing it, as I couldn't use the controls at all, but it's still a fun way to spend 10 minutes.
