Reviews for "Swords and Sandals 2"

first boss

I finally got past the first boss!

what I did was this:

when you make your character, give him a high charisma bonus

at the very beginning by the lousy dagger, as you can enchant it for free. the only armor you should buy are the cheapest boots.
then get all of your duels over with, without any losses. and the minute you get the crowd thingy use it as often as you can, because it will earn you more money. this process should earn somewhere around 4,000 gold.
use this opporatunity to get all of the best armor that you've been waiting for. Now enter the turnament.
again, use the crowd pleaser as often as possible in all of your matches.
Now comes the boss. in this fight, forget about the crowd, taunts and rest. just get close enough to hit him with a charge attack, then continue to hit him with quick attacks with the hope of freezing him alot.

i can't garruntee this will work, but it was how i beat him. and the prize money is well worth it.

AWESOME BUT PAY 2 PLAY NO SO AWESOME

I love this game its really funny and addictive too, i played it for hours and finally compleated it but then it told me it was only a demo!!! I would give it 10 if it was free . I should mark it lower but i cant because it think it is so good!! MAKE THE NEXT ONE FREE!!! CHEERS!!

Great concept!

Great concept for the game. But i think the price of the things in the game are too high. And you will also need something to explain which stats does what. Besides these everything else is alright.

Not bad but flawed

Its a hoof game and you got a lot right butthree things were rubbish. The first is if you choose a weapon that costs a lot at the start and get no armour. The players use range weapons and you get hit quickly and lose straight away. It really isn't fair on players who don't "overload" with armour straight away. The second thing is the energy system. Its a good way of regulating the battles but it slows them down too much and is way too underpowered. You run out of energy by the time you reach your opponent so your first real attack is falling asleep (which when done automatically barely gives you anything at all to work with). I understand how it helps the game but you need to fix it so its less sensitive. I mean combat wouldn't be worse without it and it doesn't really do much anyway. The third thing is money. Magic costs way too much so you don't really get a chance to use it and when you do it barely does anything. I mean the first spell (and cheapest I think) is Gale. It blows your opponent back and thats it.. you pay loads of money to knock your opponent back. Its useless as the Ninja boss demonstrates. He knocks you back and trys to shuriken you but it just doesn't give him/her any advantage.

My suggestions for fixing it are simple enough:
1.No ranged weapons in duels... its unfair. A duel isn't supposed to be archer V swordsman anyway.
2. Make the energy thing only applicable to special attacks and charges. That way you stop overuse of those abilities but don't stop players actually fighting. (This also cuts down on another lesser problem. The menu list of attributes that you add points to could use thinning down and stamina wouldn't be missed).
3. Make starting cheaper. Maybe give a full starter set of items free for a new player or just cheapen everything to a certain degree.

Not much wrong really though and a great concept behind it. I think everything else is excellent.

Fun game, a definate improvement on the first

It's a great game if only because you can be all sorts of different characters with different spins on their abilities, so it will never get old.
I can't play it any more though, once the preloader gets to 98% it stops. It's the same thing with the first one, but I can right click it and make it play.
Maybe it's just my computer but yeah it blows.
