Reviews for "Lost Rhapsody 2"

First one was better

I like`d more about that first Lost Rhapsody. This 1 graphics was better, but sound wasn`t same rank as first one`s song. Make more but try make Lots of better animation and pick better song. Then it would be good

CapnBob responds:

Tell you what, you find me a different song that has lyrics for every major event from season 2 of Lost and I'll make a video out of it.

FTW

This is nothing short of "fucking batshit awesome"! As far as I know, it must have taken you quite a looong time, as some things couldn't have been traced, or bitmap traced...

Only 3.76? This deserves a spot in the Top 50!

CapnBob responds:

4 months! And I have a fulltime job, so this was all of my spare time. The hand-traced bits actually take a lot longer than the stuff I drew freehand, but I was concerned that people might not recognize the scene if I didn't base as much as I could off the original picture. Eventually I want to go back and manually replace the autotraced pics.

An incredible, hilarious and amazing flash!!

I am a lost fan as well and I loved your original Lost Rhapsody! I showed it to all of my friends. But this flash just blows it out of the water. The drawings you did are nothing short of phenomenal. They were beautiful and you're a very very talented artist. Which makes it even funnier when it shifts into comedy! The way you redrew the scenes from lost episodes was BRILLIANT! You deserve a lot of praise for this! There was so much hard work put into it and it's evident. It deserves a 10/10. No question about it. This is going into my favorites. YOU DID A FANTASTIC JOB!! :D

CapnBob responds:

Thank you!

I am noth Worthy

This, my friend, is by far, the best flash I have ever seen. Congratulations. You are a Master. Ten times better than LR1 (if possible). I love the way the people move and their textures.

CapnBob responds:

Thanks! In most cases I used the original video as a basis for linework and color sampling, and you can kind of see me get better at it as I go in the different faces. Hurley was the first one I did and I think Liam in the "I don't owe you anything" section was the last.

Great fun...

This was a funny way of representing Lost lol.

You forgot to mention Terry Pratchet for the use of the Great A'tuin from the Discworld novels, and Monty Python for the Great big foot (Can anybody remember whch one that was?).

All the classic scenes and the most funniest music very good.
Did you use the actual Program for reference when you did the painting style?

Things to change: add credit Terry Pratchet and Monty Python for their respective ideas in the movie.

Else fine.

CapnBob responds:

Monty Python is mentioned for the sound effect and obviously the gag with the foot, but the foot itself was from Lost. And though I like Terry Pratchet, he did not invent the idea of a world on the back of a turtle. It's a much older mythological reference.
