Story Mode and BLOOD!!!
Bigger resolution and combos would be great, and a taller building. And BLOOD. Lots of it. And other firearms apart from pistol. Overall great game.

Good fun killings Smiths....over and over and over
Matrix Rampage is a good simple flash game. And there is nothing wrong with that. Except for the fact, that you do the same thing over and over again with really no variation. Sure you can pick up different weapons, and as levels go on there get to be more and more Smiths. But thats it. There are no other characters or bosses, you even stay in the same building the entire time you play. Now, I'm not saying that I didn't have fun. I did have alot of fun, especially when I got to the later levels and things got more frantic.
Controls are very simple. You only have to worry about using the A & S keys along with the arrow keys. Also the graphics are straight out of the late 32-bit era (at least in my opinion). The sounds throughout are also pretty simple. You have your continuous background music and your grunts as you punch, slice, or blast your way through the Smiths.
Overall Matrix Rampage is a nice simple game that will keep you coming back for more. Mainly because of the highscore board. But, I still wish that there was more then what is offered.

I loved the old school style of this game but i think there should have been more backgrounds to the game and traveling. If the maker of this game wants to listen to me then i would like to tell him/her to make a double dragon type game instead of a pointless beat 'em up with good controls.

Still fun in 2018! The sequel - Matrix Pandemonium is strictly better 10 times however, so not much use playing this.
