Reviews for "Matrix Rampage"

hmm...

ok, i see you can program this game well because i can't do that.
but the game is very limited.
the controls aren't so responsive because the animation is slow.
the game would be more fun if it was fast paced action so it can truly be a rampage.
there are no combos and the animation is stiff and generic.
if you put in some combos, then it would look a lot more exciting and a lot more like fighting than just one looping punch or swing or gunshot.
take for example, modern video games like dynasty warriors or devil may cry that have cool combo animations with the repeated press of at least one button.
there should at least be a way to dodge or block attacks
of course the feature that distinguishes the matrix series is bullet time which is not present, but i can see you haven't figured that out yet.
but the sound effects are good and the graphics are ok.
the music, well you already heard about that...yeah...

Over all good game

It was a good game i thought... the only thing wrong with it is that there isnt more than just the same old killing and jumping up and down floors.

Meh.

It was okay. The graphics weren't that good but they weren't bad. About average. The music was repetitive. I liked the picking up objects though.

It's like a movie tie-in...kinda disappointing

I saw the thumbnail pic for this game, I saw the game itself, and I have to say the game LOOKS pretty nice. The game has a nice cartoon look to it, everything is drawn well and the animation is crisp. I like how you can pick up everything (even agents!) and there's several weapons you can pick up from enemies. However, this game could have easily been modeled after something else and there wouldn't be that much difference. Where was the Matrix action, the bullet time, the crazy martial arts moves? I waited and waited, but after a while I got really bored of beating on the same sprites. Granted, beat-em up games like Double Dragon and so on are inherently tedious, and this game doesn't stray far from the mold. I wish the stage changed up a bit at least. I didn't much like looking at the same tower for twenty minutes. Overall a mediocre effort but the strong animation puts it that much ahead of most movie-inspired video games.

Matrix Meh

yeah it's ok for a little bit but being stuck in the same building get boring really quick
