well done
that games sweet and extremely addictive! and i also love the fact that its a sprite!
Great and fascinating game.
An interesting and fun game to play, no real story line but it does well without it and the game play more than makes up for it. Graphically speaking it is made of sprites but they do respond well and its system is responsive to how quickly, or slowly it runs. A very noticeable feature I liked as well as the small menu and easy accessibility. The style of it was a good and fun and quick paced action with little purpose, but still good. Personally I liked the whole idea and its Matrix film as I liked the movies as well. The sound effects and music were likable and didn’t disturb the game play but didn’t really improve it either. It was however fun to work a bit on breaking every single floor tile in 4 floors so that hardly any one reaches you and you can enjoy the music playing around. Violence gets a perfect ten simply because all you do in this game is kill, damage and throw things. It sounds cave man like simple, but is actually a lot of fun as new weapons are revealed and so on. Interactivity was by far my favorite part, the floors crash, weapons run out, occasional health, dropping down on some one or being dropped on does hurt, and it kept astonishing me how every things was weapon, absolutely everything. Well, except the floor tiles, which would have been interesting to see those used as weapons. It was even funny in its own way of throwing agents off buildings and stuff, I do however must ask, how come the Staff has more HP than the Katana? Just doesn’t make sense to me, but any way, it was an original piece as I saw nothing else like this before, must have taken considerable effort and it was diverse all through out the game play. Overall I’d say it’s a great game, keep it up. Minor advice is surprisingly a small tip to increase the weapon HP and number of weapons, I often found myself just using the staff. Making floor tiles into weapons would also be refreshing.
Now if I may I’ll move on to the more casually ordinary description:
Graphics: 9, Animation and drawings are all sprites and while usually I’d find it obstructing in a game and making a bit less than it could be, this game worked very well in that form and didn’t seem to miss any options it could have had in any other forms, it worked just fine and I’m glad you used the style, the interactivity it brought along with it makes up for any disadvantage using sprites could have possibly had.
Style : 9, A simple yet fun action game which revolves simply out of beating the crap out of anything around you. It’s a simple way to play but it can be perfected and with the increasing levels hardly ever gets boring. It would be interesting to use bullet time in here as well. You know, just to complete the whole Matrix theme. Nothing is fully Matrix without bullet time.
Sound: 8, Music wasn’t bad but it was very tuned down during the game play so if you wanted to get into the game’s state of mind it just won’t work because it’s pretty weak. In the menu I can hear it but in the menu I don’t need, small tip, louder volume during game play.
Violence: 10, Kill with desks, chairs, lamps, antennas, swords and sticks…Let’s see now, family fit? Nah…Children only? Perhaps.. Violent fun game only for the blood thirsty, correct. I’ve never had more fun throwing men in suits over roof edges and shooting them multiple times in the head.
Interactivity : 9, Every part of the environment was destructible and lots of weapons to get with or without killing those agents. There is actually very little that could be added there but I always wanted to toss a piece of the floor at some one, make it happen...
Humor: 9, I went up to the roof and tossed a desk at some one, that knocked him off the ledge, do I need to say more about humor? The only thing I would add is Agent and Neo voices to narrate once in a while.
Overall: 9, In general I have to say it’s a great and fun game to play and it kept me going for quite some time. Every thing I did think needs improving is listed above and I’m beginning to run out of characters to write this so I’ll brief it up, I sure hope you keep it up.
awesome!!!!!!!!!
this has so many weapons and so many enemies! this is just so cool! you have got to play this. It is alsow very addictive. I hope there will be a version 3.0
Wow
This game is awesome, a masterpeice. You obviously put alot of effort in this first flash and you got what you deserved. I loved how everything was build and it didn't get one bit repetitive. Congratulations mamn, you're a real artist
The Good
-Huge variety of weapons, which makes the game endless with unlockables, and fighting styles
-Exellent interactivity with the environment, icluding but not limited to using desks and garbage cans as weapons
-Amazing AI that can be more dangerous and more logic than an actual human(no exgeration)
The Bad (which isn't so bad):
-Lack of space the building is huge and served the game well, but wouldn't many buildings andan outside be much better?
Ratings:
-Graphics:8 Incredible use of sprites. An 8 because I am imagining the game with actual drawing... a dream.
-Style:10 perfect, just perfect...
-Sound:9 A annoying loop when you listen to it outside the game, but it blended in an unusual way here making the game more addicting than it already is
-Violence:7 it's fighting alright, but no blood ad gore
-Interactivity: 9 A great experience, interacting with the environment using weapons etc. but if you can add a hand to hand combat move set, the game would be perfect
-Humnor:0 there just isn't any.
I anxiously wait to see more from you
