Just plain' fun
Hahaha, I was addicted to this for awhile. Very nice interface, simple designs and controls allows for a really fun game, for up to 5 minutes or several hours!
Pretty Decent
Now don't get me wrong, I can see that you have put ALOT of effort into the making of this game, and for that I praise you. Most of the people here just throw someting together in two hours and hope it is good.
The graphics were very awesome, especially the floor damage and eventually breaking the floor. It really made you feel how strong Neo's character is. I also like the models on the characters, also very awesome.
I think where you might need to improve a little bit is on the gameplay. The weapons were kind of limited and so was the hand to hand combat. If you added an RPG or an MG, that might juice up the gameplay a little bit. Also if neo's punches had a greater effect and made the enemy fly a number of feet, that would also be pretty cool.
Also an addition of a few songs looped would help the gameplay alot. Personally, music helps me really get into the zone and have alot of fun with the game.
Overall, very nice addition to NG and if you make those few improvments, it would be the perfect game. NICE WORK!
Good, but a little limited
This is the kind of game that is fun to play, but only for a while. It boasts good graphics and obvious effort has gone into creating the multi level fighting environment, plus the character movement and animation is impressive. Screen layout is smart and player stats are displayed, all this is cool. BUT, I found myself tired of the game too quick. Moves were limited, weapons were limited, there was no music to break it up abit.
If you could side scroll across the city a la streets of Rage, it'd be so much cooler. Pherhaps if some automatic guns and variation of enemies was thrown in. All in all, a good idea and a good game, but it has potential to become alot more.
