Reviews for "Socialist European Union"

Ever read "Brave New World"?

In my opinion, that's more of that the fascist EU is going to look like than this. People stuck in factory jobs designated to them at birth by the State, living only so they can go home and get their next dose of happy pills.

I liked the 1812 overture, though...very nice pick.

Animation was nice, sticking with three important colors, but it would have been great success with more than just (what feels like) 2-frame repeating animations changing to one another. At least it was fluid! You've got the basics down, plus some more, but if you could just improve upon that a little, add in some more detail, you might be able to get yourself frontpage status.

Kenzu responds:

Interesting that you mention "Brave New World". This book right next to me. I'm reading it now.

Dictatorship is the past and it belongs to 20th century. The Left Wing of today is more liberal than most parties that exist.

We'll have a nice Democratic Socialism!

PS: Thanks for the fair rating.

Interesting

Having watched propaganda movies from 1930s Russia I couldnt help but see the similarity in theme and style. Good old Uncle Joe Stalin, I can understand your desire to return to such heady times of socialist brotherhood and advancement for the proletariat. Despite the century it ravaged, and the 10s of millions its killed, its comforting to know people still believe in such dead ideologies as communism. Interesting movie.

Kenzu responds:

Communism is an ideal. It is a paradise. If you don't want to live in a paradise then something must be wrong with you.

And why are you mentioning Stalin? What does he have in common with communism? I'd like to know.

nice one

that was a pretty nice animation. pretty factual, good graphics, nice audio.... though im no big Tchaikovski fan and it offered some nice entertainment. your efforts in this one and not bending facts made this one all the more enjoyable.
nice work on this one.

Kenzu responds:

To tell you the truth I work on this flash for many days and nights. I have spent a countless amount of time on this.

Each of the cities took me three hours to draw on average.

I hate to say it...

...and however the idea of the EU turning socialist scares me, this video was fairly good! It had a strange hypnotizing feel to it. Also I admire the fact you actually decided to portray all the significant cities (the fact you made such a lovely picture of Bratislava is worth a huge thumb up on its own!).

Basically lovely movie, perhaps a bit too long as the spell it had faded durring the last scenes due it lenght and lacked some more action though thats excusable given its nature. Overal despite I don't agree with the views, I agree with the way you express them, its obvious its an ideological movie and it expresses what it wants to nicely and openly. The practical remarks and personal oppinions to it need not be repeated.

Kenzu responds:

I know the flash is a bit lengthy, but that's only because I didn't want to interrupt Tchaikovsky's wonderful music.

It's great that you liked Bratislava in my movie.

Most Interesting.

Very nice job with the color scheme and the overall look of it all. I always like the old red and yellow socialist colors. A bit repetative though. Personally, I don't believe in all of that socialist stuff, but just try to make a tribute to capitalism! It'll look like a bunch of newspaper ads strung together!
