Reviews for "Gravity Pinball Challenge"

*STOLE IDEA*

Your lucky you got the front page... too many people bored without anything else to do. I would generally say though, this is a poorly executed copy of Ball Revamped. The game started too quickly, and it was kinda annoying how the ball would immediately drop, without warning. There were less powerups then Ball Revamped, and graphics didn't even compare to those of the Ball Revamped. I also liked the whole "world" thing in Ball Revamped, and apparently, you didn't really have something like that. For the music, I didn't really care for it. It just didn't fit like Ball Revamped's did (level themes).

2/5

Erg

1: it's not like this kind of game is original, so i'm not adding any points for that. Just wanted toget that out of the way early on
2: The reason it has 120 levels is because (I only played to 24 and got bored) all the levels are the fuckin same. It's almost as if you placed the squares randomly.
3: You didn't use trace when you did your hitTests, so it does the hitTest based on the bounding box of the circle... which makes you collide when you're not actually touching anything. That's noob programming right there.
4: the graphics were really shitty
5: A game of that low graphical quality and that simple code should've been well under a megabyte, let alone 30 MB.

About as fun as stabbing my eyes out with needles.

Man, you really screwed up here, damn. First point:
- Levels 40-60 are titled 'Now we're Getting Started', if you're just getting started half way through the game. Maybe you should have a smaller game.
- The sad thing was, you WERE just getting started, as the entire first half of the game had the exact same formula. The same thing over and over. The same thing over and over. The same thing over and over (See how annoying that can get?).
The graphics were nothing amazing. I mean, coloured squares cmon man put a bit more effort in than that.
-You made excuses as to the bad sound and music quality and slower frame rate by saying that your game was 30 meg... here's a radical thought, why not make a smaller amount of quality rather than truckloads of crap? We're not idiots, we're not just gonna be impressed by 120 levels.
-The music was incredibly grating, and it didn't play on the last level of each 'chapter'.
-Most of levels were completely frustrating as you just had to be near the squares to trigger them. I found myself yelling at my computer for your mistakes.
-On a good note however, you did save the best til last, the dissapearing stage was somewhat enjoyable.

OVERALL:
A lazy effort following the mantra 'quantity over quality'

It was Alright

The game was very repetitive and annoying. I beat all 120 levels expecting to see a moving square or a cannon shooting at me, or even a creature flying around. I found the game dissapointing in that the levels did not change: they only got more annoying. Good idea, but it needs more work and creativity.

umm ok

how many games almost exactly like this has the been? a few. and this game gets VERY repetative so i dont understand how anyone could get to the 120th level, i got bored about after level 30. and theres no pause button so even if you have the will power you cant really go take a leak or anything. oh yea, and lame music too...

p.s.

NOT ENOUGH NUDITY!!!
