Reviews for "Gravity Pinball Challenge"

Erg

1: it's not like this kind of game is original, so i'm not adding any points for that. Just wanted toget that out of the way early on
2: The reason it has 120 levels is because (I only played to 24 and got bored) all the levels are the fuckin same. It's almost as if you placed the squares randomly.
3: You didn't use trace when you did your hitTests, so it does the hitTest based on the bounding box of the circle... which makes you collide when you're not actually touching anything. That's noob programming right there.
4: the graphics were really shitty
5: A game of that low graphical quality and that simple code should've been well under a megabyte, let alone 30 MB.

Hurting wrist

this game was fairly good but after about 15 lvl my wrist began to hurt. Using the arrows in a game like this (in my case the up and right arrows were enough, and i went to lvl 70) is the worst idea ever. Haven't you ever heard that WASD is way more ergonomical than arrows?

Seriously: more diversity, more gameplay, more graphic, more comfort.

Nice game, though it lack's in some ways'

I'm a fan of these games. The amount of levels was great, took some time to get through them all.

Difficulty seemed pretty random, wich misses the point of level based games.

I guess many with me, thinks that the "impossible" was a relief to get to, after those loads of levels that could give a healthy person epsilepsia.

Very nice though with the visual effects that made it look like the world was shaking.

Overall, not one of the greatest game i've played. Still not a bad game either, it's worth a test. It really is.
If not only to test your nerves.

Boring...

I wanted to play this through because I was curious what challenges you would have in store.

But after the first 60 levels nearly put me to sleep with their simplicity, I wasn't looking to happy. And then the level started to shake...and I felt ill. Some serious motion sickness causing action there.

Aside from that the controls get painful after a while. So much rapid sequential tapping really guarentees I'll have Carpal Tunnel...thanks.

It might be alright with some tweaks, namely upping the challenge, getting rid of the excess fat (namely levels 1-19, 21-39), and stop making me want to puke.

good concept, bad execution

wow, now what a concept this is. its relatively simple considering its just controlling the drop rate of a sphere and hoping you dont colide with other nonsphiracle collision boxes. however, this game was lacking alot. for starters the levels never really got harder, they just were random. not to mention that the first 20 levels were identical to the last 20 levels, the only differnce is the blinking in and out of everything. and that brings me to my next point; difficulty progression. the different modes were only harder because they shook more and more, and that gave me a killer migrain. it was more manotonous than anything in as much as it was a good concept. my advice to you is next time you make a game like this DONT allow the music to match the level. if the level wasnt bad enough at picking away at my brain, the music just worsened it which made a repetitious game that i just wanted to beat-- and that i did. needless to say i have a splitting headache now thanks to you, but this definetely isnt one of the worst games ive played either... just... not good. thank you, now if you would kindly make a flash version of a tylenol pill i would be so much happier.
