Reviews for "Year of the Snake"

Void.... you are a legend

I agree with NextGen you REALLY no how to create a mood, you did great..
(Here's a little constructive criticism for you)

1. If you do end up making a sequel, Try to add a storyline or maybe a few new characters would do the trick...

2. maybe a form of "magic" or a "Special Move" of some sort to help your average novice handle the bosses.

But nevertheless it was AWESOME!! Keep up the good work

(P.S I voted 5!!!)

"Woot"

Yeah. Woot.

You're a master of effects, man. You know how to create a mood. The gameplay was good, too, but the effects made me give this thing a 5. And a favorite. Anyways, I like the sword trails, the sounds of the hits (and misses), and the subtle camera shift when you move. Also, the lack of outlines within the characters adds to the mood.

The only thing is that the gameplay gets a little stale. Each monster has a certain strategy you can use to easily defeat it, and fighting mobs is basically the same.

Anyways, good work. I'm going to play it again right now. =)

Void24 responds:

I absolutely agree that it gets boring. I am striving to develop more solid game play in future games to keep the game FEELING good as well as looking good.

I love this game.

Fun, awesome artwork, easy enough at the beggining with exessively awesome difficulty as you get further. And it really captures the feel of being a fast, silent samurai. And to the Jackass who said "But it don't got no snakes!!" Just shut up.

the game is pretty good but...i got bored and just quit =p

Very slick

Pretty fun game. Movements were fluid, some variations of enemies, nice graphics.

Overall a good game but its lacking a block button. Maybe if you do a sequel you'll add this or give the character some way to defend himself.
