Watching it again, and finding subtle hints of fun
Ah, I definitely shouldn't have watched this series before TTA. After I finished watching TTA and then started to watch this series over again, I started finding subtle throwbacks to TTA. Zet, the mask, everything. It made me laugh even more than the first time. I find a subtle hint at a more nymphomaniacle version of Ruri in Nekoneko, but that may just be coincidence.
