Astounding as always
This is absolutely one of my favourite episodes. Two things make it special here: One of the most intense, violent and creative battles so far, alongside with a deep character development. Like a bless, (or a curse) Sonic's past is now revealed, as sad as it is, taking us deeper into the whole thing. We can now really know what's going on, we feel sad for sonic, and pray for the victory of the heroes. Now that's storyline at it's best, entertaining us at every plot twist, and such.
This is not just sprite animation, there is much more to SMBZ than people may notice. It is the work of a big fan, a lover of video game and anime culture. A Stylish tribute to those characters we all love so much.
