damn, i dont know how you do it, but this series is amazing. I never thought flash animation could be so cool. and your fight scenes are killer!!! I have to say, this is my favorite series on newgrounds.

this was the greatest flash ever made in the history of sprite movies...the animation was aswome and the fighting scenes were sweet but only 1 tiny problem.. why does shadow run wierd I know he ha hover boots but you made it look like he was taking his time while running next time you should try to make his legs run faster....but outher then that small flaw this is perfect so you have all my 10's

Dude, I'll tell you what. As soon as I saw Randy Solem's Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom series, I thought that I had just seen the epitome of sprite-based movies. I figured that NOTHING could EVER come close.
I was DEAD WRONG.
This series...well, I am a die-hard fan now. It's just so perfect...And the characters' personalities are RIGHT ON. I like the usage of the Superstar Saga graphics. You can do a LOT more with those than the traditional ones Solem uses. This episode too is right up there. You keep upping the bar! Can't wait for Ep. 5 How many episodes are you shooting for anyway?
The only thing I'm concerned about is other Mario sprite artists quitting because of you, but that's it.
Randy Solem WAS a flash god. He was dispaced by none other than the author of the SMB Z series. Keep it up!

More gold. Most important is how you carried Luigi in this one, he actually fought like he's supposed to. Lately he's been portrayed as a lazy coward, but I like your view of a bumbling cocky upstart. Oddly you've never used any SMASH bros. moves, are are ya trying to stay away from that? The camera angles & dynamics are prooodigious, even if some craters are pretty shoddy. Can't wait for the 5th & can't wait for the wicked brothers to get in the mix.
