Awesome. Something to bring me back to Newgrounds
I haven't been to Newgrounds in over a year, and it really takes something awesome to bring me back. This series is that something awesome.
Everything, short of storyline nitpicks, is perfect. Your animation is - it's better than in the professional games, let's put it that way. And a detail that truly makes this go from just good (as it would be, awesome animation or no) to legendary is your perfect use of sound effects - most notably character voice clips. It just enhances scenes perfectly. From fighting sounds of Luigi's "YOHO!" and Mario's "WAAAAHHHHHHH" to just normal sound effects like Wario's "HURRY UP WILL YA"...genius.
Of course as always I must voice my complaints though there is honestly nothing bad I can say about the quality, just as I said storyline nitpicks.
In particular, *why*, *why* did you have to pick Shadow along with Sonic? If you ever do read this review, just answer me that - if you ignore everything else I said that's all I want to know. Why Shadow?
Shadow is boring, he's just another dark Sonic. You could've done so many more interesting things by choosing any other Sonic character, and had more material to work with as far as dialogue and actions go. Sonics relationship with everyone else is more dynamic than his relationship to Shadow. Shadow is just a dark rival clone of Sonic - and as far as being a rival, Knuckles does the same thing except better because he's not a clone.
As for other complaints - originally I was disappointed you made Luigi nothing but a coward but you've since fixed that and I'm glad. Especially nice to see Luigi in action in this, seeing him hand that turtle his ass along with Sonic. Of course - as you well seem to realize - Luigi can be scared and not *want* to do things, but it's moronic to say he *can't* be tough when he needs to be, after all he's been on just as dangerous adventures as Mario has, many of them the *same* thing Mario did.
Final note - never thought anything related to DBZ, even if a parody could ever interest me. Especially something that mimics DBZs *fighting style*, perhaps my least favorite part of the show because it's just stupid how powerful they are, not amazing. But you spice it up by not just making them do crazy things, but with variety and the sound effects I mentioned earlier that actually make it interesting.
Keep it up, seriously. And please answer me on that Shadow thing.

but it wuz sooo kool still
the begining wuz kinda slow but the ending wuz sooo freakin awesome 10!!!!!!!!!!!
