Finally!
A flash where Sonic and Mario work together! It underestimates Mario, Luigi, Sonic and Shadow though. They should be able to handle those Koopa Bros, even when powered-up by a Chaos Emerald. Hell, just Sonic could take them all out in one Sonic-speed stroke!
I know they could handle them easily. But it wouldn't make the story very interesting if the fight was one sided.
Surprisingly but VERY TRUE! insanely compelling!
First off I'll just explain to you my personal view of flash movies. (shortly.. so please dont go away)
Normally when I watch flash movies I am very skeptical. Once or maybe twice, in my life with flash animation, have i been blown away with excitement. But that has been a long time ago, (not saying nothing good has been happening since then).. But i find it hard to get surprised because I have seen so many things, so it can become hard to be surprised with the new stuff.
My point is.. When I watch your series, i can really FEEL the humor and the thrill! And i gotta add that i have been playing a lot of Sonic AND Mario AND seen DBZ a lot! and the combination you are making is (mildly speaking) ORGASMIC!!.. its freakin' great!!!.. And every single time a new fight comes up i get SO surprised by the new elements of martial arts you put in it!... PLUS it isnt graphically enhanced from how we know Sonic, Mario and so on, so the touch of the good old calssics still remain!.. ... Okay enough blabber...
Absolutely BRILLIANT series, I don't know how, but you've even made my "Flash hating friends" love this one!.. You've got full support from here!
When other critics might read my review they would probably decline this all out positive commentary, but right now i'm as sceptic as i can get, regarding these flashes!.. this simply has nothing bad to comment!.. (from my point of view) .... (You even MAde me create this damn account just so i could write this down and submit it!... damn you)
Very much looking forward to the next exciting episode of SUPER MARIO BROS Z!! ... If you stop now, im gonna have to kill you... no offense..

Great Series!
So far I am loving this series. The humor is fantastic, and dispite the DBZ theme it fits in well with the Mario world as we know it. The action is absolutely flawless and the visual effects and sounds are wonderful. Not to mention you captured the personalities of the characters pefectly.
I feel I have to speak on Sonic's backstory a bit. It was very well done, dramatic even. You also set up Mecha Sonic as a real threat and set up the rest very well. However, and this is a personal peeve of mine, I do not like it how you apparently killed off the other Sonic characters, including Eggman. That is just too sad, but the drama works. (of coarse, given the DBZ theme, I wouldn't be surprised if they all were miraculously saved or brought back somehow) Otherwise, a great way to set up the rest of the story.
I also hope we get to see more great fights, and possibly more character battles. Keep up what your doing now, I look forward to seeing what else you do.
Good, but no. 3 was better.
In short, the koopas sucked as combatants. They were nowhere near the awesomeness of mecha sonic. As a result this was brillant, but a huge disappointment compared to the previous episode.
You should have made this one first, and then the mecha sonic one. Please make no. 5 as good as no. 3. It's the only one in the series I voted 5 for, and the only one in the top 50.
