I hope you keep doing this series. I'm looking forward to more.
I noticed a few subtle things you used:
- Sonic uses Ryu's Hurricane Kick
- Red & Black do the shell slide that Mario does in New Super Mario Bros.
If the Emeralds can work for non-Sonic characters, does that mean the Bros. Might get to use them at some point?

This meticulously constructed crossbreed between Dragonball Z, Mario, and Sonic is truly something to savor. Vivid characters, awesome action, intriguing plotline, great humor.... what's not to love?
