hank looks like a monster because of the bandages and mainly,the ripped jaw. why he needs the bandages is because he's been: shot in the head,stabbed with a sword ,blown up,and had his head ripped off and bashed against the ground hard many times (why hes missing his jaw). basically, its whats holding him together. keeps the series realistic. (sort of)
