I heard the news on an alternative rock station on the way home from a camping trip on Labor Day. "Oh and breaking news, we just found out that Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter, is dead. He was stung in the chest with a stingray's barb while he was filming an underwater show." Me and my dad were devastated and couldn't believe what we just heard. I immeaditely called my friend who was in another car behind us. We grew up with Thr Crocodile Hunter. It was our favorite show. Me and my friends were all hit very hard by this news. I thought nothing could touch him, he was invincible, and as I grew older I kind of forgot about him. At least he died doing what he loved, and not in something crappy like a car accident or a stroke. I'm sure he would've wanted to die of old age, but still. Now this Earth is deprived of our favorite Australian. I just do hope that he really is in a better place now. Awesome movie, thank you.
